Micromax had unveiled a dual-operating system tablet, The LapTab at CES 2014 held at Las Vegas earlier, now reveals the price.
The price is said to be under $500 approx Rs. 30,000. The tablet comes with Dual OS – Windows 8 & Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Intel-powered LapTab is the first dual-boot Windows – Android tablet and is designed for multitasking across operating platforms. You need to reboot device to switch to either of two OS.
Micromax is not only company to manufacture Dual OS Tablet, ASUS also unveiled the Transformer Book Duet TD300, which runs on Windows 8 & Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at CES 2014.
LapTab comes with bright 10.1” IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It automatically adjusts the screen content by continuously monitoring the environment.
The tablet packs in a 2MP front camera allowing users to capture images, record videos and chat online.
The LapTab comes with a transleeve which can be combined as a cover and stand for the wireless keyboard packed with a 230 mAh battery promising a continuous usage of 20+ hours.
